HELLO JACQUI
Thank you for getting back to me 🙂
Our new little one is officially Penelope Valerie-Rose Coy, but we just call her Penny.
She was born 19/07/19 she’s a very happy baby and her big brothers are very proud, they’ve been excellent really! I’m still a little bit in shock that after 3 boys, she’s actually a girl.
The Castle Club looks AMAZING!!! Has it had lots of interest from the current members?
Sadly I don’t personally know anyone at the South Wilts Golf Club, but I can ask around, or be a little direct and call in when I’m next passing?
And yes of course I would love to do some work for you and The Boardroom Network, Thank You 🙂
I have a few projects in mind that I think would be perfect for boosting the buzz and emphasising the community vibe, but some of them may depend on how lenient you are on a little spot of up-selling.
PROJECT IDEAS
FACES OF TBN
With this project I envisage 3 videos, one for Bournemouth, one for Southampton and one for Solstice. On the day I will capture a portrait photo of everyone in attendance as well as a few key people’s into “Hi, I’m Chris Muirhead from Palm Print” etc. With this I will edit it into a face paced sequence flicking through the photo’s at say half second intervals before slowing the pace for an intro, then back into the face paced flick through.
This would be great on social media and paid promotions as you can tag and engage with a lot of people within the video, it could also make things feel more welcoming for would be members, especially if it flicks up people they might know.
As well as the edited video, we will end up with portrait photos of every guest and member, for you to use on other purposes, social media etc or give them a copy for being good sports to use for their own purposes.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF
I would like to capture that welcome feeling, the buzz uniquely held at The Boardroom Network Meetings, so again for Bournemouth, Southampton and Solstice I would like to attend with a small camera mounted to myself to capture a Point Of View prospective. As well as the camera fixed to myself I will capture other moments and angles using additional cameras.
With the footage and images I will edit them into a sequence that again holds a fast enough pace to keep people engaged whilst depicting the spirit held at each event.
THE MAKING OF
I have alway said that I feel the amount of effort that you and the team put into making The Boardroom Network work completely underestimated. So I would like to give people a glimpse into the making of a TBN. Now I know, you’re probably thinking, well that doesn’t sound too exciting, and that also you may have to be in it. But don’t worry, I can give it drama, and get around you not wanting a staring roll if you don’t want to.
I’ll link below a little video I made a couple of months ago, It was actually my first blog, I was starting to find my confidence, but still bricking it about the idea of being filmed myself so ignore the very awkward intro, but after that it’s a short explain and reveal vid. obviously i cranked the speed and shot it on my phone, but I hope you’ll see the idea?
SOLSTICE PROMO
Now with what I’ve collected from shooting the other 3 projects I will then create a targeted promotional video encouraging people to come to the Solstice Events, The video will cover, the members, the atmosphere, the community, and hard work that goes into the events. I believe we can make a video to capture the interest and install FOMO (fear of mission out) into the local business professionals.
I will also tailor this video for you to use in paid promotions and social boostings to reach an audience outside of your existing network.
With each project I will provide the media tailored to each social platform along with supporting copy and happily provide you with all images, footage and content captured for you to use for other purposes, as well as store it should you wish that we reengineer it into a later project.
TIMESCALE
Realistically this is going to have to be spread across 2 months worth of meetings.
I was thinking that perhaps my prolonged absence could be utilised for some of this work, especially the “A Day In The Life Of” video’s as I could imagine there may be a fair few warm welcomes, with Bournemouth being the optimal one to start with.
So if we started at Bournemouth in November then Southampton and Solstice shooting the Point Of View Footage as well as the behind the scenes in the same month, then the portraits through events in December. The Solstice Promo video then could be spun to capture people post Christmas making new years resolutions or starting businesses? In fact I can tweak this into 2 separate video’s for that purpose, one for the festive season and one to be used as an ongoing campaign.
DELIVERY
I have just realised it’s not going to work date wise with a Faces Of TBN for the Solstice Event in December, because there isn’t one. But I’ll happily do a festive themed one at the winter luncheon, I can bring some photobooth style props, Santa hats etc I think It will be a nice touch.

THE COST
Ok, So I’ve ran away with the budget a little thinking about the bigger picture and longjevity of the campaign. Sorry.
For the 9 video’s, Hundreds of Photo’s and Campaign ready copy we’re looking around 7 days worth of shooting, editing, etc. I’m happy to do it under the SMASH:100 offer so it would be a straight £700
Let me know your thoughts? I know I’ve kind of obliterated the budget there.
I am restarting on completely new foundations and with that in mind I kicked things off with the SMASH:100 campaign to get things moving, build up a portfolio and place all funds directly into advancing my equipment. So there could be some wiggle room if you’re that way inclined or feel free to smack me back down to earth to come up with another proposal.
